Start With the Actual Tree

Box dimensions describe the nursery container, not a guaranteed tree height or weight. Ask for current dimensions, form and handling requirements for the specific specimen.

Check the Entire Access Route

• Truck approach, legal stopping space and driveway width.
• Gate opening and the narrowest point along the route.
• Overhead wires, branches, eaves and canopy clearance.
• Steps, slope, soft surfaces and distance from unloading to planting.
• A level, accessible staging area and the intended final location.

Send photos before committing to a large specimen. Container size alone cannot determine which equipment is suitable.

Standard Drop-Off or Special Handling?

Standard delivery is to a safe, accessible agreed unloading location. Planting, difficult backyard placement, stairs and lifting over walls are not automatically included. Special delivery may be appropriate for dedicated trips or unusual access; crane delivery needs a separate project review.

Coordinate the Delivery and Planting

Confirm availability, access, unloading responsibilities and timing before arranging a crew. Check the delivery region and schedule and standard delivery eligibility; specialized handling may be charged separately.

Does every box tree require a crane?

No. Equipment depends on actual dimensions, weight, access and placement. It should be decided through a site review, not box size alone.

Can a tree be delivered directly into my backyard?

Only when that placement has been reviewed and agreed. Standard accessible drop-off does not promise movement through a restricted side yard.

Can you supply matching trees?

Matching or coordinated specimens depend on grower availability. Send your quantities and requirements through bulk and project delivery.
