Kara's Stripes Fox Tail Agave
Agave attenuata ‘Kara’s Stripes'
Agave attenuata 'Kara's Stripes' is a stunning, variegated selection of the beloved Fox Tail Agave, prized for its soft, spineless, elegantly arching leaves and its striking, creamy-yellow striped variegation. This slow-growing, clump-forming succulent forms a large, symmetrical rosette of broad, pliable, gray-green leaves boldly banded with pale yellow to creamy-white margins. Unlike most agaves, it is completely spineless, making it a safe and graceful choice for high-traffic areas, containers, and patios. Mature plants eventually produce a dramatic, curved flower spike (resembling a fox's tail) after many years. Exceptionally drought-tolerant, heat-loving, and deer-resistant, it is an outstanding choice for xeriscape gardens, succulent gardens, coastal landscapes, and modern plantings.
