Yucca ‘Bright Star’
Yucca 'Bright Star' is a striking, evergreen succulent prized for its dramatic, variegated, sword-shaped foliage and its compact, architectural form. This slow-growing selection forms a low, clumping rosette of stiff, gray-green leaves with bright, golden-yellow margins that radiate outward and gently curve downward, tipped with a sharp, needle-like point. In early summer, mature plants send up tall spikes of large, bell-shaped, pinkish-white flowers that are highly attractive to pollinators, followed by ornamental, capsule-like fruits. Exceptionally drought-tolerant, heat-loving, cold-hardy, and deer-resistant, it is an outstanding choice for xeriscape gardens, rock gardens, containers, and coastal landscapes.
