Whirling Butterflies White Beeblossom
Gaura lindheimeri ‘Whirling Butterflies’
Whirling Butterflies White Beeblossom is a light and elegant perennial that brings movement to the garden. The white flowers sit on thin stems and sway easily, which creates a soft and natural look.
The blooms appear from late spring and continue through summer. In warm Bay Area conditions, it can keep flowering for a long time with very little care.
This plant works well in modern landscapes, natural gardens, and mixed borders. It adds a soft layer between larger plants and groundcovers. The loose shape helps break up heavy planting and keeps the space feeling open.
It is very drought tolerant once established. It also handles heat and poor soil well. Deer usually avoid it, which makes it a safe choice for many areas.
If you want something light, low maintenance, and always moving with the breeze, this is a strong option.
