Walker's Low Catmint
Nepeta faassenii ‘Walker’s Low'
Walker's Low Catmint is a reliable perennial that brings soft color and a relaxed look to the garden. It produces waves of lavender-blue flowers that sit above gray-green foliage.
It blooms from late spring into summer, and often continues with repeat blooms if lightly trimmed. The plant spreads gently, which helps fill space and soften edges along paths and borders.
This plant works well in mass planting, edging, and mixed borders. It pairs easily with roses, grasses, and other sun-loving perennials. The texture stays light, so it does not feel heavy in the landscape.
In the Bay Area, it performs best in full sun with good drainage. Once established, it needs little water and handles dry conditions well. It is also deer resistant and easy to maintain.
If you want long-lasting color with very low effort, this is a dependable choice.
