Pink Chintz Creeping Thyme
Thymus serpyllum ‘Pink Chirtz’
Pink Chintz Creeping Thyme is a compact, mat-forming groundcover prized for its delicate pink flowers and aromatic foliage. Growing close to the ground, it spreads gently to create a dense, living carpet that brightens landscapes from late spring through early summer. When in bloom, the plant is covered with tiny, rosy-pink flowers that attract bees and other pollinators.
This creeping thyme thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it especially well suited for California landscapes and other dry-summer regions across the United States. Once established, it is drought tolerant and requires very little maintenance. The fragrant foliage releases a pleasant herbal scent when lightly stepped on, making it ideal for pathways, stepping-stone gaps, rock gardens, slopes, and lawn-alternative plantings.
