Teucrium chamaedrys ‘Alba’
Teucrium chamaedrys 'Alba' is a refined, low-growing evergreen subshrub prized for its dense, tidy habit, aromatic dark green foliage, and delicate white flowers. This white-flowered form of the classic wall germander is a compact, clump-forming plant with small, glossy, egg-shaped leaves that have scalloped edges and release a pleasant fragrance when brushed . In summer, it produces short spikes of small, tubular, two-lipped, pure white flowers that attract bees and other pollinators . Exceptionally drought-tolerant, deer resistant, and low-maintenance, it is an outstanding choice for low hedges, edging, rock gardens, and containers .
