Blue Violet Fan Flower
Scaevola surdiva ‘Blue Violet’
The Surdiva Blue Violet Fan Flower is a superior, compact selection of the beloved Australian fan flower, prized for its exceptionally long bloom time, vigorous trailing habit, and stunning violet-blue blossoms. This improved cultivar forms a dense, well-branched, mounding mound of small, glossy, bright green, toothed leaves, which then gracefully spill over the edges of containers and baskets . From late spring through fall, it produces a profusion of the unique, five-petaled, fan-shaped flowers in a rich, deep blue-violet, each with a striking yellow-green eye . Renowned for its heat tolerance, drought resistance, and self-cleaning nature, it is a low-maintenance, high-impact plant, perfect for adding a continuous waterfall of cool color to hanging baskets, containers, and sunny garden beds.
