The Poet's Wife Rose
Rosa ‘The Poet’s Wife'
Rosa 'The Poet's Wife' （Auswhirl） is an award-winning English shrub rose from David Austin, celebrated for its rich lemon-yellow blooms that deepen in fragrance over time . Named in honor of the poet‘s creative muse, this luminous variety produces large, cupped, fully double flowers with over 70 petals that form a neat outer ring enclosing an informal inner cluster . The rich yellow coloration softens gracefully as flowers mature, creating depth and contrast in the garden . Blooming continuously from late spring through fall, it emits a strong, wonderfully rich fragrance with distinct lemon notes that becomes sweeter and more intense with age . Its glossy, rich green foliage provides an elegant backdrop, and with excellent repeat flowering and good disease resistance, it is a superb choice for borders, containers, and fragrant gardens .
