Pink Dancer Indian Hawthorn
Rhaphiolepis indica ‘Pink Dancer’
Rhaphiolepis indica 'Pink Dancer' is a charming, compact evergreen shrub prized for its profuse clusters of soft pink, star-shaped flowers and glossy, disease-resistant foliage. This popular cultivar produces an abundance of small, lightly fragrant, rosy-pink blooms in dense terminal clusters from mid-spring through early summer, creating a stunning, soft-hued display . The new foliage emerges with an attractive bronze tint before maturing to glossy, leathery, dark green, slightly wavy-edged leaves. Followed by small, dark blue to black berries that add extra ornamental interest, this tough, adaptable shrub is an excellent choice for small hedges, foundation plantings, mixed borders, and containers.
