Silvery Sunproof Lily Turf
Liriope muscari ‘Silvery Sunproof’
Silvery Sunproof Lily Turf is a distinctive ground cover known for its elegant silver-gray foliage and exceptional tolerance to full sun. Unlike traditional lily turf varieties that prefer shade, this sunproof selection maintains its color and form even in bright, exposed locations.
Its fine-textured, arching leaves create a soft, modern look that works well in contemporary and Mediterranean-style landscapes. Silvery Sunproof Lily Turf forms tidy clumps that gradually fill in, making it an excellent option for borders, pathways, and mass plantings where uniform coverage is desired.
Well suited to California gardens, this variety adapts to a wide range of soils as long as drainage is adequate. Once established, it requires minimal water and maintenance, offering year-round visual interest with little effort.
