Silver Anouk Spanish Lavender

Lavandula stoechas ‘Silver Anouk’

Lavandula stoechas 'Silver Anouk' is a compact, evergreen shrub prized for its striking silvery-white, aromatic foliage and showy, rabbit-eared purple flower heads. A superior selection of Spanish Lavender, this cultivar features narrow, linear, silvery-gray to white leaves that form a dense, tidy mound, releasing a strong, sweet, lavender scent when brushed. In spring, it produces abundant, rounded flower heads topped with distinctive, upright, butterfly-like, sterile bracts (flags) in deep purple to violet-blue, above dark purple basal petals. Blooming slightly later than the original 'Anouk', it often reblooms in late summer or early fall under favorable conditions, attracting bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. With excellent resistance to foliar diseases, drought, heat, and deer, and its compact, upright habit, it is an outstanding choice for low hedges, borders, rock gardens, containers, and as a fragrant accent in Mediterranean and coastal gardens.
