Hula Girl Tropical Hibiscus
Hibiscus rosa-sinensis ‘Hula Girl’
Hibiscus rosa-sinensis 'Hula Girl' is a spectacular, tropical evergreen shrub prized for its large, showy, funnel-shaped flowers in a rich, vibrant shade of golden-yellow with a prominent, contrasting staminal column. This vigorous, upright grower features glossy, dark green, serrated leaves that provide a lush, tropical backdrop for the abundant blooms. From spring through fall, and nearly year-round in frost-free climates, it produces a profusion of flowers that attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators. Exceptionally heat-loving and low-maintenance, it is an outstanding choice for tropical borders, foundation plantings, containers, and as a dramatic specimen plant.
