Rozanne Cranesbill
Geranium ‘Rozanne’, ‘Gerwat’, ‘Jolly Bee’
Geranium 'Rozanne' is an award-winning, long-blooming perennial ground cover prized for its profuse, violet-blue flowers and vigorous, spreading habit. Named the 2008 Perennial Plant of the Year, this hybrid forms a dense, mounding mat of deeply lobed, dark green leaves with attractive maroon zones. From late spring through fall, it produces an abundance of large, saucer-shaped, soft violet-blue flowers with pale white centers and delicate, darker veining, creating a colorful, long-lasting display that attracts butterflies and other pollinators. In autumn, the foliage often takes on attractive reddish-bronze tones. Exceptionally adaptable, drought-tolerant once established, and deer resistant, it is an outstanding choice for ground cover, rock gardens, borders, slopes, mass plantings, and containers.
