Russell Prichard Cranesbill
Geranium riversleaianum ‘Russell Prichard’
Geranium riversleaianum 'Russell Prichard' is a vigorous, trailing perennial ground cover prized for its profuse, rich magenta-pink flowers and long bloom season. This robust hybrid forms a dense, spreading mat of soft, grayish-green, deeply lobed, semi-evergreen leaves. From late spring through fall, it produces an abundance of small, saucer-shaped, vivid magenta-pink flowers with delicate veining, creating a colorful, long-lasting carpet that attracts butterflies and other pollinators. With its vigorous, trailing habit, it is exceptionally effective at covering slopes, cascading over walls, and filling in large areas. Adaptable to a range of light conditions from full sun to shade, and deer resistant, it is an outstanding choice for ground cover, rock gardens, slopes, borders, and containers.
