Winter Orchid Wallflower
Erysimum winter Orchid
Erysimum 'Winter Orchid' (PPAF) is a captivating, long-blooming evergreen perennial prized for its unique color-changing flowers and compact, bushy habit. This award-winning wallflower forms a tidy mound of narrow, silvery-green, evergreen foliage . From late winter through summer, it produces masses of sweetly fragrant, four-petaled blooms that open a warm, burnt orange or apricot, then age through shades of pink to violet-purple . This creates a stunning multi-colored effect with all hues present on the plant at once. Exceptionally drought-tolerant, deer resistant, and attractive to bees and butterflies, it is an outstanding choice for sunny borders, rock gardens, containers, coastal gardens, and cottage gardens .
