Electric Flash Grass Tree
Cordyline ‘Electric Flash’
Cordyline 'Electric Flash' is a striking, evergreen perennial prized for its dramatic, sword-like, variegated foliage and architectural, palm-like form. This bold plant forms a dense clump of narrow, arching leaves in a unique palette of olive-green with rich chocolate-brown centers and bright, creamy-yellow margins, creating an electrifying contrast . Over time, it develops a multi-trunked, palm-like appearance, adding a strong vertical element to the landscape . In late spring, mature plants produce tall, branching panicles of small, fragrant, creamy-white flowers that attract bees and other pollinators . Exceptionally drought-tolerant once established, heat-loving, and low-maintenance, it is an outstanding choice for tropical borders, modern landscapes, containers, and as a dramatic accent in coastal and Mediterranean gardens.
