Rosea Mexican Heather
Cuphea hyssopifolia ‘Rosea’
Pink Mexican Heather is a charming, fine-textured evergreen shrub prized for its long season of delicate, rose-pink flowers and lush, bright green foliage. This compact, spreading cultivar of the popular Mexican Heather produces masses of tiny, star-shaped blooms in a soft, clear pink from spring through fall, and often year-round in frost-free climates, creating a soft, airy, cotton-candy-like effect . The small, glossy, lance-shaped leaves are densely packed on red-brown stems, giving the plant a fine, heather-like texture . Exceptionally heat and humidity tolerant, low-maintenance, and self-cleaning, it is an outstanding choice for adding a soft, romantic pop of long-lasting color to ground covers, borders, containers, and pollinator gardens.
