Sherwood Pink Azalea
Azalea kurume ‘Sherwood Pink’
Sherwood Pink Azalea is a timeless Kurume azalea prized for its reliable spring color and neat evergreen structure. Each spring, the plant becomes covered in soft pink blooms that create a gentle, elegant display without overwhelming the landscape.
Its naturally compact habit makes it an excellent choice for foundation plantings, shaded borders, entryways, and low hedges. Unlike larger azalea varieties, Sherwood Pink maintains a tidy form with minimal pruning, making it especially attractive for low-maintenance gardens.
Well adapted to mild coastal and Mediterranean climates, this azalea performs best in partial shade with evenly moist, well-drained soil. Once established, it provides long-term structure and seasonal color year after year.
